She was a Business Reporter at the Calgary Herald from 1994 to 1998 and continued to contribute to the daily on a freelance basis for nearly a decade.
Kavi has applied her writing skills to public relations and marketing in addition to journalism and has worked in several industries including technology, healthcare, real estate, engineering, and post-secondary education.
